The pottery studio is dedicated to making pottery in the Enshu-Takatori style and is located in Huntington Massachusetts. George W. Peterson III set up the kiln in 1979. In 1981 Seizan Takatori and her kiln master Mr. Seiji Kogo came to the kiln. Mr. Kogo stayed on to instruct Mr. Peterson on the Enshu-Takatori style and make adjustments to the wood firing kiln. The wood fired kiln is single chambered design with the 16 cubic foot ware chamber sitting above the fire box. A studio tour will soon appear on this page. Please check back.
